Christian Schackmann

Christian has over 20 years of front-office experience as a Trader and Hedge Fund Manager with major banks and Hedge Funds in both London and Frankfurt.

Prior to founding FundRisQ, Christian was a Portfolio Manager at Segantii, a multi-billion Hong-Kong based Hedge Fund where he was managing systematic and quantitative strategies. He was also Partner and Portfolio Manager at Paris Capital for 7 years where he built a back testing platform to run systematic strategies by combining different asset classes, artificial intelligence, portfolio construction and risk management in order to take advantage of market inefficiencies. The Fund was nominated several times for its performance.

Before joining Paris Capital, Christian was a Portfolio Manager at Capstone Advisors and at Citadel, the latter being one of the most prestigious and technology driven Hedge Funds. Before joining Citadel, Christian was Head of Stock Options Trading with Citi in London. Combining his experience with his coding skills, Christian and his team are currently developing a bespoke asset management tool combining the knowledge of 20+ years in real life trading with theory and technology, creating efficient and innovative solutions for alternative hedge fund managers.
