FundRisQ's IT department is in charge of translating ideas and existing regulation into code and data. It has developed and is maintaining our regulatory kernel, which acts as a socket for FundRisQ's individual regulatory solutions, and which represents the heart and brain of our platform.
The IT world is changing fast towards a decentralised architecture and with documents being more and more diverse, visual and unstructured. Legacy languages and architecture have problems keeping up with these changes.
We operate in an agile and flexible environment and don't have to adhere to any corporate legacy systems. Our preferred tools are Python as a main programming language, MongoDB as a flexible database solution as well as the extensive use of cloud computing.
Our web based solutions are a reflection of the shift in the IT world by combining these modern tools and delivering the solution in the form of a SaaS (Software as a Service) that can be accessed from anywhere and without any local need for maintenance.
